Welcome to the 2010 National Youth Gathering PRE EVENT Web site.
National Gatherings provide opportunities for youth and adults to boldly come together in the name of Jesus Christ to proclaim, celebrate, and witness their salvation through Him, rejoice in the fellowship of their church and be affirmed and nurtured in their lives as God’s people through Word and Sacrament. The 2010 Gathering marks the 11th National Youth Gathering and the third time New Orleans has been home to the thousands of youth and adult participants who will gather over five-days for celebration of their faith and life in Jesus Christ.
This special Web site is designed specifically to announce the Gathering's decision to be in New Orleans and provides access to information that helped the Gathering select this vibrant city as its home. Here's what you will find:

1992 and 2001 were two of the most memorable Gatherings for thousands of LCMS youth and adults. Share your memories from those events, as well as new memories that have been made as you have perhaps traveled to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast as part of a post-hurricane Servant Event.
